The Backstory

With over 30 years of combined experience in the recruitment industry, founders Nick and Andrew found a gap in the marketplace – when it came to winning new business, some clients didn’t have a budget to hire through an agency even if they wanted to, while others couldn’t attract the right candidates quick enough for projects that they were winning. So, they developed OVR to teach businesses how to optimise their candidate attraction process and avoid reliance on recruitment agencies and job board advertising. Their easy-to-use online training programme implements semi-automated recruitment solutions for businesses that want to attract and hire the best talent in their market.

Nick has over 15 years of recruitment experience across Europe and the Asia Pacific. He successfully built a multi-million-dollar contracting desk in Australia before moving back to the UK to start his own recruitment agency.

Andrew’s Story

Andrew started working in recruitment in 2001, largely in the technology sector. He worked for two previous companies, helping one achieve status on the Virgin FastTrack 100 list by building up a £10M contract business. Since moving on from there, he has set up two other recruitment businesses himself.
